Literary Rap Throwdown Project
Stage 1: Book Reading
The first thing we did for this project was choose a book to read in groups of two. I paired up with Udeema and we choose to read The Once and Future King by T.H. White. After we started reading, we needed to take detailed notes. In each partnership, one person had to take a positive stance on the book and the other person had to take a negative stance. I took the negative stance, which was challenging, but I worked through it.
Stage 2: Writing the Rap
Udeema and I paired up with Tzvi and Anastacio. They read The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. In this group, we worked together to write the rap battle over which book is better.
Stage 3: Making the Video
My job was to plan, film and edit our video. Below is my plan for the video to go along with each line of rap
